San Angelo Cornerstone Beats Fredericksburg Heritage in Five Sets
After losing first set, Lady Lions defeat district foes
San Angelo, Texas -
In a scene reminiscent of an Angelo State volleyball game at the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, San Angelo Cornerstone defeated district foe Fredericksburg Heritage in five sets at the Lions’ Den, their home court at their Jefferson campus.

After an opening set loss and a setback in set four, the lady lions came back from the dead to win in the fifth set.
This humble reporter should’ve taken better notes but had to take heart medicine to ensure his health was prioritized over writing unbiased news coverage of his high school Alma mater.
Also, it was his first return to the gym since this season which also did not feel great.
